Welcome to the TC start-up site.
A site to provide resources and contacts for those interested in founding therapeutic communities.

There are a number of documents available; so far these focus on a proposal for a democratic health service TC. If your focus is different you may still find them useful, but email me other documents and I will make them available.

These documents all refer to one another, and are designed to be read together. The links above are to HTML documents, and can be printed out or saved, but they do not faithfully preserve the format of the originals. At the top of each doc is a link to the original in rtf format which should be readable to all but the most primitive of word processors. Click it and the document will be placed on your hard drive. You can the edit it and print it out in a presentable form. Note: All local references have been replaced by phrases such as 'this location' in italics.

The purpose of the website is for like-minded people to share resources and ideas, so if you have any documents you think people might find useful, summaries of studies, or would like to email me for any other reason, send them in to this address and I will make them available on the website.
